Several new parts were made for this engine. The Magneto needed a new Latch Block and Adjustment Screw. A new spark advance lever was made (the old one was broken). I also made new valves and spring keepers, and exhaust lever adjusting bolt. New head bolts were purchased, along with a new decal.
The engine really runs great now. I do think the ball check valve may stick once in a while. I plan on selling this engine, on the cart. I will probably take it to some engine shows this summer, once I get the check valve fixed. I plan on going back to making engine models, authentic scale model replicas. These big engines are just too heavy for a small, old guy like me.
