This little Stirling Cycle Engine was my first ever engine. Made on a Grizzly 3-in-one. The Grizzly was my first metalworking machine, and the first (and only) one that I have sold. I purchased the video offered by Village Press, produced by Rudy Kouhoupt. An excellent video and set of plans. I learned a great deal of machining tips from them. The engine still runs, I take it out occasionaly to "remember" |

My second engine, another Stirling, from plans in the Village Press book "Projects One". Although it runs, I never did get it one to run well, I found the timing to be very touchy. (probably due to some error on my part) |

My third Stirling, using plans from Jerry Howell. This is my best running Stirling, apply a little heat and it runs and runs. The smallest of my Stirling engines, it presented some challenges, but was worth it for the experience and techniques learned. |

A Stirling Pumping Engine. Built from Castings and Plans that I purchased at NAMES 2000. Haven't been back to NAMES since, but hopefully next year. Really a neat engine to watch run, with all the action. This was my last Stirling model, then it was on to Steam models. |
